We gathered enough wax from a few inspections to make these little wax bee figures. We haven’t done anything with them but added them to our memory jar. It’s kinda cool though - our first beeswax!

Oh, and as you can see, the wax for the bees was not filtered or anything. This is straight from the frame, melted and poured into bee mold. We were so excited we totally forgot to properly render the wax!!

We hope to gather much more in the future and perhaps make some lip balm, candles, body butter, or even make homemade crayons! There are a gazillion things to do with leftover beeswax. A gazillion and you can be sure we will do something cool with ours.
